Review: Masquerade Cosmetics

Masquerade Cosmetics are a professional makeup company based in Australia. They produce everything you can think of, from gorgeous highlighters and eyeshadows to glitter, body paint and fake blood. I was lucky enough to be sent a very generous amount of awesome to products to review for you guys! Click 'read more' to see swatches and quick reviews.

Blend Series Foundation
B2 and C2
This stuff is incredible. I wasn't sure what to expect from this as I don't really dabble in cream foundations but it's definitely a new favourite. It has incredible pigment and coverage and doesn't cake. My favourite way to apply this is with a damp beauty blender, it gives a beautiful dewy finish.

Luminiser Powder

'Moon'
Another favourite from the bunch. A subtle soft pearly highlighter that can be swept over the cheek bones and high points of the face for a beautiful natural glow or mixed into moisturiser or foundation.

Shimmer Powder
#75, #05, #66, #494, #18.
Beautiful smooth, shimmery loose powders with awesome blendability. Create awesome liners and foiled effects by using the Eyeliner Activator.

Eyeliner Activator
Smudge proof eyeliner activator (think Illamasqua's Sealing Gel). Be wary when using this extremely close to the eyes. It might burn a little as it contains alcohol. Excellent for creating liner using your favourite eyeshadows and loose pigments.

5 Colour Eyeshadow Palette
I received the 'Fashion' palette. This palette contains 5 very vibrant and beautiful shades. Some are softer and more pigmented than others in this palette.

Gold Glitter Cream
I've never really liked or understood glitter creams. They just never give the pay off that is needed or the cream always gives a strange finish to eye looks. This works okay if you're going for a very subtle glitter effect.

Loose Glitter
These are great. I received the shades UV Purple, Silver and a dark blue in number 58 that is no longer available on the website. UV Purple was really hard to get good photos of, sorry!

Colour Creams

These are soft and pigmented colour creams for face painting or to be used as eyeshadow bases. I use the White Cream Colour as a base to make eyeshadows pop.
Liquid Glass
Dark red.
A non-tacky lip balm like lip colour. Feels really nice on the lips a quick, no hassle alternative to lipstick.

I'm in love with pretty much all of these products. It's insane how many items and variations this brand carries. They even carry full kits if you're a student!

Pop on over to their online store and check them out on instagram @masquerade_cosmetics and facebook.
